Our Story
1Hui Athletes United, Inc is a Hawaiʻi-based nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding access to youth sports, athletic development, and mentorship. We believe every keiki deserves the opportunity to grow through teamwork, discipline, and positive coaching — regardless of financial barriers. Our goal is to encourage youth to build leadership skills and pursue higher education. We serve athletes, families, and communities by providing inclusive, affordable, and goal-oriented sports programs.

Youth sports costs continue to rise.

Many children are priced out of club athletics. Research from the Women's Sports Foundation shows that girls drop out of sports at higher rates during adolescence when financial and access barriers increase.

Athletes need mentorship, not just competition. We work with each athlete to understand her future goals and encourage her to pursue college through personalized academic check-ins, goal setting, leadership development and intentional college exposure opportunities.

Our coaches provide on-goining guidance in not only athletic performance, but in character development, time management, and confidence building --ensuring each athlete can leverage athletics for academic advancement, scholarships, and lifelong success.
